Delivery, Service and Shipping Policy.

We can deliver flowers to almost any spot on the territory of the United States and Canada.

Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee delivery at a specific time of the day. Substitution may be necessary to ensure your gift is delivered on the day you requested. Taxes are based on prevailing rates in the delivery area.

In most areas of the United States and Canada, if you placed your order as late as 2 pm. in the recipient's time zone, it can be delivered on the same day (earlier times may apply to some areas and during holidays). We deliver on Saturdays and Sundays to certain areas only. If you placed your order by 1 pm in the recipient's time zone on a Saturday or Sunday and the area is included in our list, it will get where it need to be - even on a Saturday or a Sunday.


Flexible Delivery

We cannot guarantee delivery on a specific date for busy floral holidays like Mother's Day, Christmas, and Valentine's Day. To maximize the likelihood of delivery on one of these busy floral holidays, please place your order more than five days in advance. Orders placed within 5 days of Christmas, Valentines Day and Mother's Day DO NOT HAVE GUARANTEED DELIVERY DATES. Neither cancellations nor refunds will be issued on orders placed during the Christmas, Valentines Day or Mothers Day holidays if the order was placed within 5 days of the holiday, and subsequently delivered within 4 business days after the respective holiday.

Orders placed during Flexible Delivery will be delivered in the days prior to, during, or after the holiday. For example, Flexible Delivery dates on Christmas may include 12/23, 12/24, 12/25, 12/26 or 12/27. Generally, we will do our best to make sure all orders arrive prior to or on the holiday but we are unable to guarantee specific dates.


Delays

Occasionally when weather, inaccessibility to the locale or delivery address, need for special ordering, or for whatever reason Products cannot be delivered on the date requested, we may attempt to notify the sender as well as the recipient. Delays caused by factors outside of our direct control, including but not limited to events of "force majeure", road closures and traffic conditions, lack of access to a delivery address due to factors beyond our control (ie, a locked or secure property or a gated community where access is not permitted, etc.), an incorrect or insufficient address provided at the time of the order or recipient unavailability will be rescheduled for the soonest available delivery date/time and may not be refunded after the initial delivery attempt. When the need arises, we reserve the right to convert the order fulfillment from hand delivery by a local florist to our Farm-Direct fulfillment sent via UPS or FedEx in order to ensure that your arrangement is delivered in time for your occasion. Should this occur, we will make every effort to contact and notify you.

Non Delivery/Late Delivery

With respect to all delivery policies stated in this section, in the event that no delivery attempt was made and the order was not delivered on the requested delivery date, we will offer the Customer (i) a re-delivery attempt; (ii) a credit towards the purchase of Products; or (iii) a full refund, at the Customer's option. Non Deliveries or Late Deliveries are not inclusive of orders that are en route to be delivered on the requested delivery date as we do not guarantee delivery times. A Non-Delivery or Late Delivery means that no delivery attempt was made on the requested delivery date. When delivery on the requested delivery date is precluded by factors outside of our direct control such as events of "force majeure", road closures and traffic conditions, lack of access to a delivery address due to factors beyond our control (ie, a locked or secure property or a gated community where access is not permitted, etc.), an incorrect or insufficient address provided at the time of the order or recipient unavailability, the order will be rescheduled for the soonest available delivery date/time and may not be refunded after the initial delivery attempt.

Flowers for Funerals

Because they are a little more complex than usual orders, funeral flower arrangements usually take some extra lead-time. To make sure your sympathy or funeral order is delivered at the specific time on a specific day, please bear in mind the following:
- If you need flowers delivered on Monday morning - better place your order by noon (12 am) in the recipient’s time zone on Saturday
- If you need a morning delivery on any day from Tuesday to Saturday - better place your order on the day before - by 3 pm in the recipient's time zone
- If you need an afternoon delivery on any day from Monday to Saturday - we advise you to place your order with a 3 hours lead-time
- A Sunday delivery is available only in particular areas. You will know if your Sunday delivery can be realized when you place your order. If your recipient’s area is on the list of areas where we deliver on Sundays and you can order the flowers, please place your order no later than 1pm in the recipient's time zone and it will be delivered on that same day.

Orders Of Exotic Flowers

Since exotic flowers are limited, in case you want to order them, you will need a Next-Day delivery - available Monday through Saturday.


Service Fees

A service fee is applied to orders delivered by a florist as the actual service fees charged may vary. For example, same day deliveries, weekend and holiday service fees may be higher.

- If it is a personal delivery, but the person is not there to accept it, the flowers will be left in a safe place for the recipient to get them when they come back OR an attempt will be made to deliver them on the next day. If it is a holiday deliveries may be made as late as 9 pm.
- If it is a business delivery and the office is closed or not accepting deliveries, delivery will be attempted the next business day. If it is a holiday deliveries may be made as late as 5pm.
- Please note: Florists may call the recipient to schedule delivery.
- Hospital deliveries: we advise you to make sure the recipient is still in the hospital before sending them the flowers.
- You will see the order total with all fees above the "Place Your Order" button when you’re checking out.


Flowers Delivered via FedEx®, UPS® and USPS®

We must inform you that for the time being our flowers delivered by FedEx®, UPS® or USPS® are only available for delivery on the territory of the United States. Flowers can be also delivered on Sundays only during certain holidays.

For certain zip codes we may be able to do an early delivery. Early deliveries are carried out by 12 noon on the requested delivery date. Please note that during holidays demands really hit the ceiling, so holiday deliveries may take place by 1:30 pm. Shipping Fees for these deliveries depend on the amount of the flowers.

When you indicate the address of the delivery, please make sure that you include apartment, unit, or room number. For deliveries to colleges and universities, some extra time may be needed.

Please note that surcharges apply for deliveries to Alaska and Hawaii as taxes are based on prevailing rates in the delivery area.

Your order may be fulfilled by one of our FTD member florists or in our award winning gift box through our partnership with FedEx®, UPS® or USPS®.


Service Fees

A service fee may apply to orders delivered by FedEx®, UPS® or USPS®. The actual service fees charged may vary. For example, morning deliveries, Monday, weekend and holiday service fees may be higher. Additional service fees may apply for select Sunday and Monday delivery. Alternate delivery options are available for most non-perishable gifts.

  • Fresh flowers delivered via FedEx®, UPS® or USPS® can only be ordered with a Next-Day delivery with the applicable shipping fee.
  • If you need to change the delivery address after your flowers have been shipped, you will have to pay additional $10.00.
  • Unfortunately, at present we are unable to carry out deliveries to P.O. Boxes or APOs.
  • There is no need for the recipient to sign anything - our carrier may leave the flowers at the address even if no one is there at the time of the delivery to personally accept their gift.
  • About hospital deliveries: well, we advise you to make sure the recipient is still in the hospital before sending them the flowers.
  • These deliveries are only made on the territory of the United States.
  • Flowers can be delivered on Sundays only during certain holidays.
  • If you want to send flowers to Alaska and Hawaii, a 2-Day delivery is your option, as surcharges apply. Ground and Next-Day delivery are not available for Alaska and Hawaii.
  • Deliveries to remote areas of the United States may take an extra day.
  • The delivery date will depend upon the shipping method available.
  • Orders may be delivered on or before the selected delivery date.
  • You will see the order total with all fees above the "Place Your Order" button when you’re checking out.

Delivery Locations

We can and we do deliver to almost all places in the United States, including households, offices, etc. Nevertheless, there are few places that we can’t send flowers to because of the special regulations of these places.

Hospitals

We have to inform you that we don’t send flowers to Intensive Care Units (ICU) or the Critical Care Units (CCU) of hospitals because most hospitals don't allow it. If you want to send flowers to someone in the hospital who is currently in ICU or CCU, we'll hold the order and send when the person is moved to a regular room. We advise you to make sure the recipient is still in the hospital before sending them the flowers, anyway.

Other locations we can't deliver to (unfortunately) include:

Cruise ships
Airport terminals
Trains
Cemeteries
Post office boxes or APOs

Recipient Unavailable

If your gift-receiver is not to be found at the address you indicated, the florist will handle the situation by:

If it is a personal delivery, but the person is not there to accept it, the flowers will be left in a safe place for the recipient to get them when they come back OR an attempt will be made to deliver them on the next day. If it is a holiday deliveries may be made as late as 9 pm.

Delivery by FedEx® , UPS® or USPS®

If the gift-getter is not present to receive the flowers, the delivery carrier may leave them at the address indicated in the order form as no signature is required.
